2024 Festival of Music
The 89th festival is now closed.
The Grand Concert will be held 7pm Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Temiskaming District Secondary School, Gym 150 in New Liskeard.
Audience Pledge
Audience members play an important role in the festival experience as their responses are a key link in providing a positive support network to the performer. By accepting that each performer is trying their best (and that mistakes sometimes happen), the audience can then acknowledge the success and efforts of all performers regardless of the results of the competition. Respecting the adjudicator and accepting a possible difference of opinion also provide encouragement to the performers by allowing the performers to freely use the adjudicator's comments to improve their skills.
